This story is a great example of a scenario where it really is a shame that both sides can't lose:
The former children's services chief who was sacked after the Baby P tragedy has launched a legal challenge against the role played in her dismissal by Ed Balls, the children's secretary, it emerged yesterday.
Best case scenario: both of them are in court on the same day, and it burns down with both of them inside (although everyone else is able to escape). But that is probably wishful thinking.

This would be the Sharon who sacked a Turkish lady in her employ because she blew the whistle on a case where children were being left in the care of dangerous people, with Sharons personal approval ?

Can't Shoesmith and Balls decide the matter by fighting to the death in a vat of cold dogshit, with the winner being thrown into a pit of wild boar?

Just a thought...

(Deleted the last one 'cos I came up with a refinement)
