Nick "Racist Moron" Griffin: "Sink Immigrant Boats."

Perhaps those saying all you need to do is give Nick Griffin enough rope and he will hang himself were right:
"But the only measure, sooner or later, which is going to stop immigration and stop large numbers of sub-Saharan Africans dying on the way to get over here is to get very tough with those coming over. Frankly, they need to sink several of those boats. Anyone coming up with measures like that we'll support but anything which is there as a 'oh, we need to do something about it' but in the end doing something about it means bringing them into Europe' we will oppose."
The emphasis is mine. Although I do think most people would be able to work out the eye-wateringly evil and outrageous statement was in that section. Very few political statements actually make me retch with disgust and anger - Griffin has achieved that. And I am staggered by the idea that he wants to stop immigrants from dying by sinking their boats. Frankly, his idea is beyond retarded (with apologies to retards everywhere).

Still he followed it up with this "clarification":
"I didn't say anyone should be murdered at sea - I say boats should be sunk, they can throw them a life raft and they can go back to Libya. But Europe has sooner or later to close its borders or its simply going to be swamped by the Third World."
As a head's up, there, Nick, if you have to clarify that you are not advocating murder, there tends to be either something very wrong with your opinions or in the way you express your opinions. Or both, in your case.

This is the thing about the BNP's "policies", if we want to be generous with their outrageously racist desires. They are moronic, ignorant, violent and potentially murderous. And all bar the worst of the fucking knuckle-draggers will be outraged by this sort of statement. So maybe this is the upside to the BNP winning seats in the European Parliament - the BNP's supposed veneer of respectability disappears as their crass nature is highlighted through their own words.

The BNP sit in the non-attached section of the European Parliament. No-one wants to be their friend or their ally. Wonder why that might be?

I must admit, I was thinking that myself recently, we need to see a lot more BNP people on the telly.

When the faux-statistics were put out a day or two ago, purporting to show that refugees are not prioritised for social housing, Channel 4 just interviewed two of The Righteous that made me even more suspicious about the whole thing (the statistics actually prove what we all suspect, namely that recent immigrants are given priority).

But BBC News actually interviewed a BNP local councillor from Barking & Dagenham, who was a thoroughly unsavoury character and who probably did far more to discourage people from voting BNP than the faux-statistics ever could.

If you're thinking these messages aren't resonating with the proles, I suggest you think, and listen, again.

As egregious as he is, don't underestimate Nick Griffin.

"The MEP for the North-West of England said the EU had to get “very tough” with migrants from sub-Saharan Africa."

I agree. These people are invaders. When they are allowed to land, they get the chance to ask for asylum, and in any case become the host country’s charges until they are returned to Africa. They are given no disincentive to stop the invasion.

The solution: Announce publicly and loudly that further illegal boats will be sunk. Then, if the boats continue to come, sink them. The boats will stop coming. That’s the way a serious country responds to an invasion.

Keep in mind that the African population is set to double to 1.5 billion by 2050 which will create a massive strain on Europe.

As groups differ in average mental ability due to 50,000 years of divergent evolution, these migrants will invariably be overrepresented in the problem statistics.

You should aim to get Chinese or Indian migrants.

Subtlety was never Nick Griffin's strong point.

Couple of points to make here:

First of all, people claiming asylum - legally sought or otherwise - do not constitute an invasion. Any such talk of it as an invasion is shrill and hysterical - precisely the sort of ill thought out idea that the BNP thrive on. You cannot send people to act as pirates on behalf of the EU or any other nation state under the spurious and incredible misleading idea that asylum seeking/immigration is an invasion.

Secondly - yes these ideas will resound with some - and not just with the "proles". But the more we hear, and the more extreme they become, the more the supporters will vanish. You'll end up with a hardcore of racist meatheads, all calling for war against immigrants, being ignored by all in the mainstream of society.

So Mark is right - let's hear more from these BNP types, and when they talk, let's point out what crass, murderous hate-filled rubbish they spout. People will soon see them for the abomination that they are...

I tend to think that a lot of recent immigrants will leave when the economy collapses later this year. A further element to our national problem is that our oil production is forecast to fall to 40% of the 1999 peak by 2012. So you can add another 60 billion pounds a year to our structural deficit. Though we basically wouldn't be able to afford to import so much, it is doubtful that the welfare state could be maintained.
Obviously a solution to our energy crisis could pop up anytime, but in the meantime I think extremist messages blaming immigrants will be successful.
