This must be one of the unluckiest men ever:
Tsutomu Yamaguchi was in Hiroshima on a business trip on 6 August 1945 when a US plane dropped the first atomic bomb.Hiroshima, then Nagasaki? Man, he had a pisser of a year...
He suffered serious burns and spent a night there before returning to his home city of Nagasaki just before it was bombed on 9 August.

Apparently according to an interview he is fine for his age, just a bit deaf in one ear.
Although the other two ears are still working fine.
