...for perhaps the first time ever:
One of the Pope's senior advisers has pulled out of the papal visit to Britain, after reportedly saying the UK is a "Third World country" marked by "a new and aggressive atheism".
If we are pissing off people closely connected to this reprehensible arse of a pontiff, then we must be doing something right.

Actually, what he said was that flying into Heathrow is like flying into a third-world country.
And it fucking is.
It was more the "new and aggressive atheism" that impressed me. I suspect that anyone living their lives in the splendour of Vatican City probably has a warped view of what a Third World Country is.
