My Authoritarian MP
According to Liberal Democrat Voice, my MP is just about as authoritarian as he could possibly be. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. He is a Labour MP after all.
Fortunately, he's standing down. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Don't celebrate too quickly. His replacement may well be either forced on Nottingham East by Gordon Brown directly (ex-MP Chris Leslie), Council leader Jon Collins or the tram mad Jane Urquhart.

Perfect. This absolutely guarantees that I won't be voting Labour. Not that there was any real danger of that anyway.
