So, you should care, if and only if you think the Beeb's function to provide non-commercial stuff is important *and* if you think this forms a precedent.
Erm, there's no real comment policy other than "don't libel anyone" and "don't use the comment section to try to sell your products". If you do either, I will delete the comments without warning. Otherwise, you can pretty much write what you want.
BBC 6 itself is simple - it is programming for fans of popular music.
ReplyDeleteShutting it down may be more important symbolically, as it belies any pretence that the BBC is set up to cover minority programming.

no that's two questions. a single two part question would be how does x affect y and z. you asked what is x and why should x, clearly two questions.
